Let's start with the basics. The sun, as beautiful it is and as happy it can make you, is bad for your skin, so be sure to wear sunblock every single day of your life. If you are going to be exposed directly to the sun even for half an hour or less, make sure to take something to cover your face and arms (and your whole body actually). It can be a hat, a cap or even an umbrella. Another thing that gets damaged by the sun is your beloved eyes. So carrying around in your car or purse or backpack a pair of sunglasses can be life saving.
For a weather like my country is experiencing right now, where it is hot or cold, yes or no, in or out, up and down (haha Katy Perry reference), it's best to wear a long sleeved shirt and carry with you a sweater. In this case I wore a sleeveless shirt because I was going to be exposed to the sun and it can heat you up in seconds. Yet inside the house is cold so I took with me a sweater. Boots, as I like to emphasis, are essentials (ESSENTIALS people) when you are going to a place where snakes might appear. This is coming from a person who has a snake phobia so maybe I am exaggerating haha, a pair of sneakers will be just fine. That's it for today.
Take care people, dogs, cats, elephants and other beasts,
Gaby Calix.
